How it works
Cryolipolysis is based on a principle called selective cryolipolysis: fat cells (adipocytes) are far more sensitive to cold than the skin, vessels and nerves around them. The device applies precise, controlled cooling over the treated area, leading the adipocytes into a natural elimination process — without harming the surrounding tissues, which are more resistant to cold.
In the weeks following the session, the body itself gradually processes and eliminates the affected fat cells through natural metabolic pathways, delivering a real — not merely temporary — reduction of the fat layer in the treated region.
Protocol and results
Each session treats one or more areas with applicators designed for the body's contour. The protocol — number of sessions, interval and applicator combination — is defined during the assessment consultation, according to each patient's body type and goals.
The first changes may already be noticed within the first few weeks, but the full result consolidates over 2 to 3 months as the body eliminates the treated fat. Because the eliminated adipocytes do not return, the result tends to be long-lasting — long-term maintenance depends on healthy eating and physical activity habits.
