How it works
Gold peeling combines colloidal gold particles (usually 24-karat gold) with antioxidant actives — such as vitamin C and hyaluronic acid — applied as a gel or mask onto cleansed skin. Gold promotes gentle exfoliation of dead cells and has antioxidant and soothing properties that help protect skin from free radicals and reduce signs of irritation and redness.
In many protocols, the product is paired with a microcurrent ionization step that boosts the penetration of actives into the skin's upper layers. The result is stimulated collagen and elastin production, with an immediate effect of radiance and glow.
Protocol and results
Gold peeling can be performed as a single session — ideal for prepping the skin before events and special occasions — or incorporated into a maintenance protocol, with sessions generally spaced every 30 days. The ideal frequency is defined during the personalized consultation, based on the patient's routine and goals.
The radiance and glow effect is noticeable immediately after the session, with no downtime whatsoever. For longer-lasting firmness and tone uniformity, periodic maintenance and daily sun protection are recommended.
