How it works
Radiesse is a collagen biostimulator made of calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres suspended in a carboxymethylcellulose gel. When injected, the gel delivers immediate volume and support, while the microspheres act as a scaffold that stimulates fibroblasts to build a new support network in the treated area.
Over the following weeks, the gel is gradually absorbed by the body and the microspheres are naturally reabsorbed, making way for the newly formed collagen. This dual effect — immediate volume plus progressive biostimulation — is what makes Radiesse suitable both as a filler and for treatments such as gluteal harmonization, jawline contouring, double chin and hand rejuvenation.
Protocol and results
The number of sessions, the injection technique and the amount of product are defined during the personalized consultation, according to the treated area and each patient's goal — from jawline contouring to the Bumbum UP® gluteal harmonization protocol.
The volume result is visible immediately after the application, and the collagen biostimulation consolidates over approximately 12 months, delivering a natural, long-lasting result. Additional sessions are usually recommended periodically, as advised by Dra. Chris Marchetti's team.
