Subcision

The technique that releases the fibrous bands trapped beneath the skin and restores an even surface — for acne scars and cellulite that creams and massage alone cannot fix.

1–3Sessions per area
30Days between sessions
60–90Days for the result to consolidate

How it works

Subcision uses a fine needle or cannula to release, beneath the skin, the fibrous bands (septa) that anchor the dermis to deeper tissue layers. These septa are what create the 'pitted' or depressed appearance seen in both rolling-type acne scars and cellulite with deep adhesions.

By releasing these fibers, the skin redistributes and the surface becomes noticeably smoother, often after the very first session. The small, controlled bleeding produced by the technique also acts as a natural stimulus for collagen production.

Protocol and results

The number of sessions and the technique used are defined during the personalized consultation, since each scar or cellulite area responds differently to fibrosis release.

Bruising and local sensitivity are common in the first few days. The improvement in skin texture is progressive, becoming more evident between 60 and 90 days, without surgery, skin incisions or visible scarring.
