How it works
Therapeutic ultrasound emits high-frequency sound waves that penetrate the tissue and produce a cellular micro-massage capable of reducing swelling, improving local circulation, and stimulating the reorganization of collagen fibers in areas of fibrosis.
This mechanical effect, combined with fibroblast stimulation, speeds up the body's natural process of fluid absorption and softening of hardened tissue.
Protocol and results
Mainly indicated for body and facial post-operative recovery, always guided by a personalized consultation with Dra. Chris Marchetti's team.
Sessions usually begin a few days after clearance from the surgeon. The typical protocol involves 8 to 10 sessions.
